Hey.
So, I have been thinking about how to modify our approach to adding business for the rest of the year based on the fact that I have no help from Kim now (she starts a new job on April 14th), the current USA/UK (global, actually) SME business environment, the new tool HQ gave us, what may happen with TikTok, etc.
The new approaches boil down to continued awareness building in the USA and very targeted social media in Birmingham (coming to us, not HQ critically) combined with direct Inmail approaches to fulfilment prospects. Route building is minimal except for periodic email.
Below is the checklist I want to go through with you next week so we can set the course. I think you should spend some time on fulfilment.com before we talk. I have their pricing sheet and blank agreement if we think we want to dig into it further.
Monday is out for me - tooth root extraction, but the rest of the week should work.
Ciao.

Key Considerations & Action Items

1. Awareness Building:
  • Focus on USA market for SME eCommerce (especially MCF as an Amazon alternative).
  • Highly targeted social media in Birmingham (distinct from HQ).
2. Direct Outreach:
  • Continue direct Inmail approaches (30/month as a target).
  • Research sector fulfilment prospects.
3. Content & Campaigns:
  • Develop and distribute newsletters and guides.
  • Assess and leverage new HQ tools.
  • Evaluate TikTok strategy (pending HQ call list and potential regulatory changes).
4. Platform Expansion:
  • Explore opportunities on eBay, Pinterest, and other platforms for micro/regional business.
  • Consider micro and multi-channel fulfilment models.
5. Partnerships & Tools:
  • Decide on retiring Zint.
6. Next Steps:
  • Schedule meeting (excluding Monday due to dental appointment).
